The 2026–2027 calendar now includes official in-person summits and events with a real virtual pass. Filter by format. Confirm on the organiser site.
Not every AI event is a flight. Not every “virtual summit” is a real conference. We list both, but only when the organiser says so on their own site.
The conference directory now filters by In person, Hybrid, and Virtual. Hybrid means the organiser sells or grants an official remote pass, not that a random stream might appear on YouTube later.
If a date moves, the organiser site wins. We are not affiliated with these events and we do not sell tickets.
In the room
These are worth the travel if your work depends on hallway conversations, posters, or a once-a-year industry map.

These organisers publish an in-person venue and an official virtual option. Use the Hybrid filter.
ODSC AI West 2026 · 27–29 October 2026 · San Francisco Bay Area

A practitioner conference at the Hyatt Regency SFO in Burlingame. ODSC sells in-person passes and a separate virtual pass. The FAQ is clear: in-person sessions are not live-streamed. If you buy virtual, you get the virtual programme.

NeurIPS 2026 in Sydney is also listed as hybrid on our calendar, with satellite meetings posted on neurips.cc.
How to choose a format
- In person if you need posters, hiring, or a week inside a research community.
- Hybrid, attending remotely if your company will not fund travel, or you only need talks.
- Skip anything that only exists as a Meetup topic page, a reseller, or a “virtual AI week” with no organiser domain.
We still will not invent dates. ICML 2027 is announced for South America on icml.cc with no city or dates yet, so it is not on the calendar until those exist.
